Salnexus was founded by Samantha Salvetti on a conviction shaped by two decades at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Across five presidential administrations, from George W. Bush through Donald Trump, she represented U.S. economic and financial interests inside foreign institutional systems, private and public. She established the U.S. Treasury's first dedicated Latin America presence and coordinated the U.S.–Brazil Economic and Financial Dialogue, the senior bilateral channel between the two governments on economic and financial affairs. In 2021 she received the Treasury Secretary's Honor Award.
That work was cross-border institutional execution before the discipline had been named or defined: representing one nation's interests inside institutions where outcomes are formed. Over that time, a consistent pattern became clear. The organizations and institutions were often more aligned than they appeared. But that alignment did not carry itself to the point of decision. It stayed obscured by institutional distance and by different understandings of the same objective. That was where execution had to begin.
From this experience emerged the firm's central conviction: cross-border institutional execution is the discipline of making that alignment operative. She founded Salnexus to place the practice at the service of private and institutional clients, wherever institutional boundaries separate organizations from the outcomes they seek.
